Romantic Child Studios provides an affordable and inspiring media space for photographers and filmmakers. Our space can handle small to midsized productions. Whether you're shooting a short film, a music video, client headshots, commercials or product stills for your business website or catalogue, we have the space that can get the job done.

Our space is equipped with all of the necessary equipment to make your shoot run smoothly. We have seamless backdrops, professional lighting equipment, a post production studio, change-room / make-up room, washroom, a client lounge, coffee bar, prop-room and a beautiful ambiance with lots of natural light filling our heritage building studio.

We are also conveniently located Downtown in the trendy neighbourhood of Gastown which is located right in the middle of all amenities from coffee shops, restaurants, SkyTrian stops, clothing boutiques, libraries and parks.

Best of all, we offer the most competitive price for value in all of Vancouver. We have hourly, half day and full day rates available.

Studio Rental Rates

Hourly rates: $35 / hour
Half date rates: $200 (9-12 or 12-4)
Full day rate: $300 (9-5)
After hour studio rental rates: (5pm - 2am) - $45 / additional hour

Equipment Rentals

Lighting Kit Rental: $19 / hour ($60 for half day - $100 for full day)
Lighting assistant: $20 / hour ($70 for half day - $130 for full day)
Backdrop: $20 one time fee
Green-screen backdrop: $30 one time fee
Digital SLR (still camera) rental fee: $50 / hour ($150 for half day - $250 for full day)
HD Video Camera rental: $70 / hour ($240 for half day - $299 for full day)
35mm Depth of Field (DOF) adapter: $50 / day + $10 / day per lens. more info
HD tapes: Cost is $20 each (or bring your own)
SD tapes: Cost is $5 each (or bring your own)
